    DYING WITHOUT A WILL
    TITLE ~ MOOT POINT

     MOOT POINT

    The world is overkill
    Cresting with fears
    Fear this .. fear that
    Fear .. fear itself

    I never plan on dying
    At least not anytime soon
    These crazy thoughts
    Aren't allowed inside my mind

    Times i've pondered
    Other people's attitudes
    About this touchy .. particular subject
    Seems to me .. taboo

    I don't look back
    Each day that comes around
    Impulsively .. i throw myself into it
    Enjoying .. being alive

    To make passionate love
    To play and listen to great music
    To write .. to swim .. to read
    To shoot guns and billiards
    When the slightest notion grabs me

    Money earned .. money spent
    Money saved .. money lost
    It's only dirty money
    Who really wants it ..
    Buried with them .. in their grave ?

    Things i've accumulated
    Things i've given away
    Things i've had stolen .. forever gone
    Things i like .. things i don't
    Things i'll leave behind .. one day

    If someone wants my life
    They'd better take it quick
    Because once i realize ..
    Their ass is as good as kicked
    Names taken .. at a later date

    If i were to be asked my opinion
    Concerning dying without a will
    I'd certainly have to answer ..
    I don't entertain .. insane thoughts
    Though one day .. die .. i must

    To think of dying .. whilst alive
    Would be like ..
    Trying to think of living .. after i'm dead
    In all reality .. who does ?

    This is a cool poem! Your poems come across as riddles to me, it's the style I also choose. I like that you add what it's about in the commentary though, as I choose to let people guess at mine. I appreciate being able to look at your commentary and see the riddles point.

    this poem really does inspire such thoughts to flood the mind, after all all that we are guaranteed in life, in birth, is in fact death, however, many are afraid to face it, very good write.
