    My Fantasy Man

What took so long to notice?
    He was there all along.
So Handsome, Sexy, and appearing Strong.
Who knew that I would find him through.
An acquaintance named Chico, who was his friend too!
Destiny, people say, plays the biggest part in directing lives and healing hearts.
I had this void that needed filled.
Then along came my man ,so I thought, so complete and real.
He was intelligent, sincere, humorous, and reserved.
Ask anyone friend and they'll assure you he has a heart of gold.
He displays utmost respect for senior citizens.
Instills it in men and women while adoring little children.
Watch him closely and you will see.
He will become your friend for life if you want him to be.
Over the years he has become my very best friend in life.
Only this match could be made in heaven, I believed.
That he became my husband and I became his wife.
He was my protector and keeper with his deep hidden faith.
If ever I needed a thing he would surely make way.
Sometimes he knew my feelings but most of the times not.
My prayer to God was always for his blessing -------my Rock.
The Rock of our family is where I have held him.
Now-----that so called "Fantasy Man" is no longer a vision to wrestle with.
Stop looking for your "Fantasy Man" he many never come true.
Thank God for your blessings in the man that you choose.
    Fantasy Man now and forever.
I chose him and he chose me.
Together for life or until death do us part as God dictates it to be.
    AMEN

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
