MY IMMORTAL LOVE
I wrote this poem for a challenge in FWC and Rock The House with Todd... I have always like very much evanescence - my immortal.... before when I heard it I identify with this song for many reasons but now it made me get out all the feelings I carry inside my heart openly so Thank you Todd I this challenge let me vent out my true feelings and also seems to have reached to several hearts and minds. Sometimes a poem can work wonders when many arguements cannot........
Exasperated out of words
I become hopeless more and more
as I see you sleeping
memories fly over my head again
going back to when you cried
running ended in my arms
I made sure you were secure
even if it caused me to shed tears
all through the years
I kissed your tears and fears away
pushed you to the limits
to assure you
that everything would be okay
How to say I love you then and always will
If you listen to me with silent ears
how to show you how much I care
when all you do is run away
you come with problems
that I always solve for you
you promise your love for me
to be pure and true
nothing matters to me
but to see your big smile
your dark dominant eyes
shining bright like stars
then again it goes back
to lies, violence and anger
I exasperate
not knowing how to speak to you

when all you do is run away
I try to believe you
and you let me down
everytime ends the same
when you come around
all I do is invane
you throw your dreams away
not caring
makes me feel insane
consumed with uncertainty
what will be of you
if I am not there
to push you through
