Myself Through Glass

Myself Through Glass

A bleeding pen
To a bleeding heart
You'll never see
The hardest part

The words will twist
Burning holes in the page
And with every breath
The pain will engage

Tearing through me
My  heart will ache
But another look
I couldn't take

I hate the sight
Of myself through glass
The hate is of myself
This feeling won't pass

I loathe the sun
The day in time
When the mountain becomes too steep
And I cannot climb

So try to forget
My face, my life
My so called "creations"
Were all of my strife
