Naked Love

Poem Commentary

The curiously simple gesture towards healing between lovers and the vulnerability of this exchange is the most enticing experience for me. I attempted to capture that essence with "Naked Love".

Naked Love

 Lying naked
 In the dark
 I saw your un-dressed heart
 Knowing my power
 Feeling no shame
Reaching out to heal your pain
 Smoothing scars
 Removing hidden jars
 Hearts on wings flutter afar
 Simple advance
 Symbolic chance
 Tender love dance
 Brings complete expanse

WOW! The rhyming is the main naked theme here. And the beebop kind of rhythm. Cool! ginga

Thanks, for bringing that to my attention, now I will re-read to understand the beebop feel. TY

Your work here makes my heart just thump alittle faster. You not only make a strong statement of passion, but also, of healing and love. This short little treasure, truely captures the essence of making love.-Maddi

Thanks Maddi, I was afraid that because it loaded incorrectly on the site, that might hurt the chance of other poets reading it. Thanks for checking it out, looking past the form and commenting on it.
