    Obsessive Inclination
    You are an addiction
    A drug to my heart
    Poison to my soul
    The forbidden edge

    Craving your touch
    Unable to erase your image
    Hearing your voice in my sleep
    Aroused to a pitch, soaked in sweat

    You have another; I have mine
    Wanting too much; taking too little
    Dancing around the chemistry
    Refusing the forbidden fruit

    Leave my soul intact
    My heart untainted
    I cannot survive the high
    The crash will cost too much

    Lena, This poem builds exponentially until the reveal in the last stanza. I liked that you set it up to build momentum this way. The last 2 lines really clenched it for me. ginga
