Obstacle
The ground is my last juggernaut.The grass has faded away
from underneath my feet.
So i pass through the earth
and feel death's rabid pulse.
I hear the piercing cries of the other dammed
and my ears bleed with empathy.
The hands of the beaten and broken
rise to grasp the protruding warmth.
Our eyes burn with the need for justice.
We spit out the putrid remains
of your once valued teachings
and resurrect our fallen brethren.
An endless night shall come for you.
The forgiving light of day
will never again grace you with it's presence.
Down here your body will rot
whilst we wreak havoc upon your soul.
Your emanating life
will be your eternal demise.
