Oppositus Attractus

Oppositus Attractus
  Girl looked sad,
'cause her heart was leaving
not from relations,
but American dreaming

I became the solution,
to her troublous season
yet the summary and factor,
of love never equated the reason

when opposites conspire,
polarities are made uneven
in which sometimes the attraction,
leaves hearts bleeding, to someday get even.

Money makes dreams,
though happiness is never for retail
our latter arrangements,
brung true acknowledgement of 'no sale'

seemed I took all morals,
and traded them for freedom
hoping to be living the dream,
of the American dream, to come

see, a fool and his money,
conceives a fool still
and from the precursor phrase,
I'll tell you, it's real.

Tempy, thanks. Almost forgot about this one. Had this guy with an offer to wed for money. The thoughts here were almost tempting enough to come to life...well the money part. Thanks again

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
