    Over the hill

    Over the hill I made it

    at that age what did I accomplish in it

    did I start the race right

    probably not

    but thru my life did I do what was right

    here I am at the finish line

    what now a new start

    a new race

    what’s in store for my life

    I’m not done still life in me

    a fight that will take me to the top

    again and again keep on moving

    show how strong or stubborn I may be

    they both don’t matter as I teach

    the younger generation how they must be

    walk a straight line

    never move

    holding fast what you have learned

    take it hold it don’t let it go

    it’s what has been given

    you cannot buy

    its free for the taken
