Overwhelming Love
"I want to sit at your feet,
Drink from the cup in your hand,
Lean back against you and breathe,
Feel your heartbeat.
This love is so deep,
It's more than I can stand.
I melt in your peace,
It's overwhelming."
It seems the more I fall in love with you,
I get even closer to my God.
I want to learn how to get close,
All on my own.
But your love is just like His;
Overwhelming.
Without you I feel empty,
My Lord, God knows.
Just as you know I cannot go on,
Without his love so deep.
I want you sit at your feet, Lord,
Drink from the cup in your hand.
You've filled the cup with all of him, so I lean back against him and
Breathe.
I find you within his love.
Dear Lord, thank you!
You've given me more than I deserve.
I hope it will last.
And, Lord, I will do what it takes to keep you!
I will do everything to keep him too.
There is no comparing, Lord,
YOU give me life.
My love, on earth gives me the stew of love
To keep me from sickness.
Sweet dearest,
when I gave love a try with you...
I found God again.
I've never felt closer to God,
Than I do when I'm with you.
God, did you intend on this?
Do you want from this,
My happiness and my love and hunger for you,
Again?
It's working, Oh God.
I'd die before denying you.
Just as I'd die before losing my sweet love,
On earth.
I want to sit at your feet, Dear Lord.
Drink from the cup in your hand...
I lean back against him and breathe.
I can feel these heartbeats.
Your love, God...
Your love, sweet Jacob...
This love is so deep,
It's more than I can bare,
More than I can stand.
I melt in this peace...
It's overwhelming.
