Passion, Love , Romance

Passion kills the loneliness,
even if only for a while.
It give your lungs a reason to breathe,
and your mouth the chance to smile.
It makes your heart start beating,
though it may skip a stroke,
and your minds imagination,
again loosed from its yoke.

Love removes the emptiness,
and fills your waking hours.
It gives to you a purpose,
an object of desire.
It provides a destination.
A heart that you'll call home.
It fills your empty dreams at night.
You no longer sleep alone.

Romance's across the table,
dinner just for two.
Wine glasses approaching empty,
a full night meant for you.
Fingers intermingled,
eyes lost in a trance.
Hand in hand you're walking home.
Passion loves romance.

I just dno't believe it's true...that there is such a man who writes love poems like this. THere is no such thing... I need proof! I have never known such lovely verse , except from Elizabeth Barrett-Browning's sonnets Where did you come from?

Very good You got the Love! The last stanza is the best!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
