    Perspectives
    Commitment.... Save it for my brother
    You know the one
    He picks from the garbage, and sleeps
    In a card board box

    Hope.... Save it for my daughter
    You know the one
    She lies in a hospital bed
    Waiting to die
    The miracle cure she so
    Desparately needs
    Will not come from medication
    That she will receive
    But from a strangers touch of compassion

    Love.... Save it for my people
    You know the ones
    They struggle for knowledge
    To understand
    Life isn't about the color of their skin
    Or the political boundaries
    In which they live
    Life is about sharing and caring
    And getting along
    Respecting all things great and small

    Faith.... Save it for my conscience
    It lies deep within my mind
    Helping me to become
    The best person I can
    Teaching me to use my full potential
    By sharing myself with the world
    Thus giving me hope
    For a better tomorrow

    Peace.... Save it for my world
    You know the one
    It is dying of a broken heart
    Unable to love
    Unable to care
    Not knowing of the one
    Who can set it free

    Commitment, Hope, Love,
    Faith and Peace
    And the greatest of these
    Is love
