    Leave me with my memories.

    Leave me with a single goodbye.

    Leave me with nothing but my heart.

    Leave me with my love.

    Remember when we wished upon a shooting star.

    Remember when we laughed until the sun came up.

    Remember when we still thought life was a fairytale.

    Thank you for showing me how you really are.

    Thank you for being my closest enemy.

    Thank you for not loving me, even though I love you.

    Thank you for acting like you hate me.

    Thank you for leaving when I needed you the most.

    Keep all of these things in mind as you slowly walk into the night.

    Young love is impossible to understand, and you've expressed that very well. I think it's because everyone goes through endless change from high school through college and even in early adulthood. Good write and thanks for sharing.
