I was born and raised in Granite City, Illinois. I graduated from high school there and married my first husband in Cahokia, Illinois. We had two beautiful girls that are grown now and between them I have six grandchildren and one great grandson. Poetry has always intrigued me since I was old enough to read. I never thought I could write things that others would read until I moved to Tennessee and met someone in Winchester. I thank him for his faith in me and encouraging to keep going forward with my writing. I have self-published 3 poetry books, one children's book and a short story book. I am in the process of getting all the poetry I have written up to now professionally published. Hopefuly within the next year I will have a book on the shelves of book stores, a legacy to pass on to my family and friends. Thank you all.
