    Poem Commentary

    This poem is about how a person no matter how big or small can have one little incident turn something beautiful into something bad.
    Or vice-versa...

    Just and the petal (me) had everything going for him at one point.
    Then his life got completly turned around by an event.

    But on the other hand....

    (Me) Just by having friends turned my life around to get me back on track after it happend.

    ( This poem is dedicated to a fellow friend and poet who has inspired me to continue writing through my troubled times.)

    "Beautiful Death"

    ..A petal..
    ..Floating on still water..
    ..The soft touch of a breeze caresses the petal into motion..
    ..Ripples in the water pulsate in a circular pattern around the petal..

    ..Out of nowhere a tiny speck lands on the petal..
    ..Causing the petal to sink into the abyss..

    ..Cold and alone the petal rots on the river bed..

    ..Forever Gone..

    ..Forever Dead..

    This is real good. I like how you took a petal peacefully floating down the river, and showed how fragile it can be. Very nicely done.

    I cannot begin to thank you enough. This piece was amazing. I fear I am begining to sound like a broken record. The imagery was devine and the emotions were heartfelt. I envy you now...although I kinda think I always have. Your writing is beyond comparison. Loved it. 10 from me
