    "Throughout the storm"

    Throughout the sunshine,

    And even throughout the rain.

    You Kept your spirits high,

Even though you were in pain.

You always had encouraging words for me,

Each time we talked on the phone.

    You said"Don't worry about me"

Cause you knew God would soon call you home.

    You are indeed my inspiration,

Cause you always said it best.

You gave your life to God,

And now it's time for you to rest.

    Throughout the storm,

    You fought a good fight.

    You never lost your faith,

And I know you are alright.

You will forever be missed my brother,

And I'm so sorry you're gone.

But I find comfort in knowing,

God came to take you home.

In memory of my brother, George "Speedy" Beene

This is a beautiful and bittersweet poem.I can relate as I lost a brother-in -law to enphazema recently.Even though we were not related by bloodline;I loved him like one of my own brothers. This poem is a great testament to the bond and love between you and your brother.

The love shared between you and your brother are so deeply evident in the words of this poem. You are so adept at putting the emotions of your heart down on "paper". I look forward to reading more. Stop my page sometime. JEaglefeather
