    Poem Commentary

    i wrote this after i watched "The Crow: Wicked Prayer" and thought of what it would be like to have a scorpion superhero/revenge driven man

    Revenge's Poison

     how badly must you want
    something before you
    let it consume you
    I've been trying so hard
    to figure it out
    that's why
    I let the poison of
    revenge come inside
    let it take over all
    my life but why
    does it seen as
    if it's trying to control me
    I've now lost myself
    to the revenge that's
    becoming me
    consuming me in lies
    and killing the old me
    it's hard to believe
    I'm still walking this
    earth, alive but my
    soul is gone
    it's true that revenge
    is a poison
    and it's turned
    me into this...
    ...monster
     that must kill to
    be happy
    I don't want that
    now I know
