    Rewind and Pause

    I treasure every moment with you
    And despise every other without
    Now having to walk near you like strangers
    Because of the spotlight that caught us

    I love the way you hold me close
    And how my name dances off your lips
    And brushing your hand across my cheek
    Always sends tingles down my spine

    If only we could go back to what made sense before
    Just lay in admiration forever in an untraceable dimension
    Asleep in your arms and awake all the same
    Nervousness is consistent

    A frozen moment in thought
    As time fast forwards around me
    Something so sweet with you on my mind
    How wonderful it would be to just REWIND
    ....and PAUSE!
