    Poem Commentary

    i wrote this in the winter of '08 while me and my boyfriend where in a fight...he had wrote about how he was in a symphony and playing softly agenst a piano and a drumer, (who was another man i fell in love with) i wrote this to reply to his....

    Rock 'n' Roll
    i can't stand the sound of a
    symphony it's all just to loud
    and while i sit i realize i can
    hardly stand the sound of my own directing...
    if i was to be the director of your symphony
    i don't think...no i don't think
    any of the loud percussion would be
    in it...just the sweet sound of the stringed instruments
    and while i can't say i can hear you play
    for the rock 'n' roll is far to loud in my head
    and the loud guitar solos lay
    their claim to my heart
    i can see that all of the song lyrics i write
    will be loud and hard to
    understand...oh no don't
    get me wrong for there will be
    those soft songs that draw sweet
    tears from your eyes
    no i can't say that i
    can hear any of that symphony
    for AC/DC is takin' me on a
    HIGHWAY TO HELL while Perfect Circle
    lays claim with THE NOOSE
    and all wrapped in The Scorpion's HURRICAN
    for baby rock 'n' roll is my life
    but baby don't stop playing for your song
    is love metal to me
    and i can hear your Theater of Tragedy with
    all of it
    at hand i can hear the soft
    melody of you
