SALT OF THE EARTH
Aug, 2, 1989
Christians are
The salt of the earth.
Their lights shine forth
From the day of new birth.
Usually as Christians,
We seek to find,
Fellowship with others
Of our own kind.
Now this is good,
For we need each other,
But the world needs salt,
More than our brother.
If salt is lumped,
All in one spot,
It ruins the flavor;
The world, it helps not.
If we spread salt,
Where ever we go,
Christ will shine forth
For other to know.
