    Satin or Rust
    I can almost seize your depth.
    Brass rings dangle,
    just centimeters from my soul.
    Winds blow your being
    beneath the very hairs of my skin.
    I am thrown into your personal
    sea of kaleidoscopic spirals.

    If I set my heart free,
    love can be the ultimate
    gift,
    or my darkest hour.

    I sense you have both let it go, again held it when it returned- but only for a time and letting go once more to find its way home again. We live both, with and without at the same time.
