    Say...

     

    A letter to you,

    What would I say?

    Would it make your day?

    I see people wondering where to go.

    Maybe I should tell them they'll never know

    I wonder at times what's on your mind

    and silently hate myself for being so kind.

    Sitting here I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

    Thank you for helping me to never fall apart.

    Sometimes my mind is completely empty

    but I know there is more for me to see.

    For you I remain happy, I remain strong,

    I only wish you weren't gone for quite so long.

    Thinking of you, I miss you dearly.

    I know you're here still, so I can see clearly.

    Man, it hasn't been the same since you went away.

    And writing this now I miss you more than I can say.

    Wow, I can definitely relate to this one. It can partain to many scenarios. I would've written something like this to my grandmother who passed away a year ago. Loved it!
