Selfish

Poem Commentary

A moment with true satisfaction some time ago!

Selfish

If there would be a place where I could find myself

It would be here,

in the eternity of this moment

under the light of this dawn.

I would quietly touch my soul

And dance with her through the night.

We would be birds in flight,

stars exploding light

in the distant sky.

It would be magical,

It would be real,

It would be now.

In this place I would see my true face,

reflected in the gestures of my call,

Glow and glitter all about.

Music and majesty serenading inside and out.

My hope, my fantasy:

If there would be a person to be discovered,

That  person would be me.

TY, Ry! I'mm happy you took the time to leave a comment! So thoughtful...

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
