Follow close behind me
As i lead us blinded
Down a path by decree
For the simple minded

It comes to show that people may judge
Label you as if superior
Say all you want i just might budge
For i'm weak with a lifeless interior

Just me and my shadow of suicidal measure
Wishing for something to change
But being thrown away like unwanted treasure
Juss makes all hope seem out of range

Until one day my shadow shifted
Another presence that sheltered me from frustration
Where my depression lightly drifted
A different shadow that became my salvation

Knowing that there will still be cuts and bruises
I have to understand its ok to be human
So no more excuses
No one should be treated as if subhuman

People make mistakes
Don't be hard on yourself
Life is where meaning breaks
So don't be afraid...
