    SHINE

     IM TIRED OF PEOPLE CRYING 
    AND IM TIRED OF PEOPLE DYING.
    IT GIVES ME SO MUCH PAIN
    TO WALK OUT THE DOOR SEEING POORS AND POORS OF RAIN.
    HAVING MUCH SORROW FOR MISTAKES THAT WE ALL MAKE
    I WONDER WHICH PATH SHOULD I TAKE .
    FOR IT WILL SOON BE MY DECISION TO MAKE
    AND WITH EVERY STEP THAT I TAKE WILL SOON GUIDE ME TO MY FAITH.
    LEAVING THOSE FOOTPRINTS OF MINES BEHIND
    SHOWING CLUES AND THE WAY THAT I SHINED.

    I agree with Stryx, you remind me of myself when I was a young man writing. I felt I had to write it all down so fast to get it out of me! I have learned that my poetry is more appreciated when it has quality to it, no misspelled words and grammar mistakes. You definately have something we want to hear from you, but your mistakes take away from the message.

    Work with a dictionary and a thesaurus. Don't work without them. They are so important for you to be understood.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
