    SHow Her The Way

I look deep in her eyes, those dark blue eyes.
I see my savior, rescued from my own demise.
She is the future, this beautiful girl.
She is my life, she is my world.
What don't you get, do you not see.
My beautiful daughter, I hope she's nothing like me.
She saved me from myself, when I wouldn't listen.
She came into this world, and now my eyes glisten.
It hard to think, that I hold the future in my hands.
It's so hard to fathom, but slowley I start to understand.
Without the children of the world, we are doomed to failure.
The things i must tell her, the right way I must show her.
I've witnessed so much evil, throughout my experienced life.
So much hatred, and way too much strife.
For her to conquer great things, I must lead by example.
Show her the right path, of the rightouse and able.
Her future is bright, which proves there is good in this world.
She will prevail over evil, and fight for the good.
And when the time comes, I will proudly give up my life.
For my beautiful daughter, so that she may prove what is right.

I LOVE THIS! VERY GOOD! YOUR DAUGHTER AND ALL CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE! OX

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
