    silence speaks
    welcome to my inner bliss
    it's lonely here in this abyss
    I'll greet you with a reckless kiss
    then toast our long lost innocence

    please, don't disturb the tranquil air
    by voicing empty words so fair
    but hushed now enter my despair
    in silence I will take you there

    feel the way the stillness grows
    the pregnant weight of all it knows
    entranced by our alluring prose
    in darkness we will be exposed

    I feel the subtle whispered breeze
    as you move closer by degrees
    a gentle hand, a clever tease
    your kindness brings me to my knees

    the pull of passion long denied
    but stronger still the pain defied
    in the solace of the dark confide
    absolve me of this hollow pride

    the burning sea of rage release
    defensive hostile measures cease
    I've been consumed by my disease
    surrendered hearts alone know peace

    so tenderly you touch my face
    glistening tracks of tears erase
    redefined by your embrace
    awoken by a kiss of grace

    in fluid carnal heat respond
    impassioned movements correspond
    with hearts entwined we seal the bond
    move through me as we move beyond

    touch me now, the sparks will fly
    to light this ever midnight sky
    in shades of love I'll not deny
    illuminate my hearts reply

    you devastate my last defense
    no subterfuge or false pretense
    the silence now has grown immense
    rife and dripping with suspense

    you've witnessed each and every hue
    renewed the light to so imbue
    my colors are all shiny new
    the silence breaks on "I love you"

    You did a marvelous job of rhyming within this poem from beginning to end. The cadence created plus your usual command of language made for a great read.

    It is a hard task to rhyme line to line and to then keep the overall thought flowing - your all knowing presence pulls off the embrace that you hold the reader in by wrapping your words around the theme in the very end "I love you". Well Done - Write ON!
