Snow Flakes(Prose)

A snowstorm they said

would pass through here

that cold night.

Inches of a crystilline cover.

Flakes,

infinitely small.

Frozen.

I see them now.

Messengers of silences.

In repose.

A world of white and blue.

I draw near and read.

The truth in two colors.

I understand.

May God keep us in an embrace.

Wow Grito ... So much actually being said in this piece. So beautiful and metaphoric. Of course the imagery is outstanding .. but I wouldn't expect anything less from you! :) ... Great Job! ... Ken

Such a quiet and peaceful piece, much like those flakes lying "in repose"... Lovely!

Ahh, you are so nice to me, thank you very much Tierra!!!!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
