    Poem Commentary

    Haiku is an interesting form in that yu are limited to a total of 17 syllables, but can paint a picture, tell a joke, or tell a story. I have done a little of each here...Enjoy!!!!

    Some Haiku for You!

     when deep sea diving
    when I have run out of air
    people point and laugh


    love is a flower
    petals fall as we grow old
    to sprout life anew


    a phrase and a kiss
    rings and flowers and dancing
    forever with you


    pass the salt to me
    the season of seasoning
    has passed by this steak!


    starting as two ones
    meet, laugh, kiss, love, ask, accept
    two ones become one


    park on a driveway?
    drive madly on a parkway?
    sit on my butt.


    BAM! BOOM! POW! BIFF! BANG!
    It's onomatopoeia!
    it's just fun to say!


    a black sky looming
    a blacker car arriving
    down, down, down, with tears


    the end is coming
    just a dire warning for you
    but all good things must...

    That was actually a very deep haiku... I loved the odd transformation of signatures!
