    Something

     There are whispers in the air a
    nd a pounding through the ground.
    Something tells me I shouldn't care,
    that i'm still safe and sound.

    Theres fire burning in my head
    and I cannot catch my heart.
    Something tells me I should be dead,
    that I was supposed to be gone from the start.

    There's glitter raining from the sky
    and blood is pooling at my wrists.
    Something tells me it's all a lie
    that nothing true exists.

    Right from the start
    I was always torn apart

    You write so well for such a young person but age does not make one a poet either, does it? Great poem!

    "Theres fire burning in my head and I cannot catch my heart"—the imagery created here is received with such perfect pain. And then this closing is like a knot of flesh throbbing with confusion: "Right from the start I was always torn apart" —bravo!
