     so close
    fingertips barely touching
    eyes fill the silence
    so loud
    tongue-less suspicions
    of knowing
    and receiving
    but only in pieces
    like bread crumbs
    fascination
    breathes quietly
    letting aches linger
    suspenseful intuition
    bordering a dance
    that speaks
    a language for two
    veiled in red
    slightly seductive
    for a purpose served
    in closing gaps
    until standing nearer
    but only a kiss apart

    "but only a kiss apart" — this line is so perfectly poetic. I like the subtle seductiveness of this piece.

    This was well written but every verse left me waiting for the punch out. This has great potential as being a ground warrior! Very well put together. It makes you tittering there on the wall, not knowing if it's safe or enviably a danger well. I quite like it!
