    Spring Hope

    The Great North Wooods is greening;
    terminal buds smell sweet.
    Feathered Folk returning are;
    a welcome springtime treat.

    The River's ice will melt soon;
    the flow may go astray.
    Some sleeping creatures waken
    to greet the fresh new day.

    The frozen ground is thawing.
    Plant shoots are pushing through.
    The hope of new beginnings;
    rekindled under skies of blue.

    Ahhhhhhhh, how sweet is the smell of Spring in the air. Your poem freshens as the morning dew on the new grass. Very lovely, my friend.........................................................gogant

    here we are again, dear Earthly, bringing us all, another camera-picture, perfect moment that came knocking on this morning's screen like a view of you where I am not, and I think maybe the air is cleaner where you are... for there are more green things breathing close, clean lung-needs... .and the animals... too amazing, like being in a free zoo... we have a few cats and birds outside, but they do remind me of the wilder ones, in the place where cement is not laid too thick, n rich..
