    St. Lawrence

I stand and watch you stately pass
Your current flowing to the sea
Pilots sail your ships on course
The sea gulls cry, "Where are you from?"
The silent ships do not reply
From the back a flag does fly
When I was young my heart would shout
"Take me with you I want to know
    what the world is about!"
They never stopped for they knew
    Tim controls all we do.
