Still

Still

The water is frozen

And seized in its tracks

As winter came walking out of its legacy

And now it is frozen in time

Her snow white cloak and crystal blue eyes

Her voice so mystifying

It stuns your very soul

As she walks calmly

Snowflakes fall

Building her a crown to the very tip

Shadows of the wind

Are seen in the pure white sheets of snow

The water is froze

The wind is seized

And all is still

Describes to a 'T" the way it feels outside and the "stillness" that exists within the wintry cold. The meaning seems much deeper, I have to read a few more times to decipher it. Mystifying!

This is very discriptive of the season of winter. One of the nicer ways of discribing Old Man Winter himself...........

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
