Sunny Sunday Walk

Instead of staying inside
breathing dry stale air
I went on an adventure
on this sunny Sunday fair
seeing snow slowly melting
brings a smile to my face
it's moments like this
I don't wish to erase
Breathe in the fresh air
delight in Mother Earth
closer to spring now
and the rebirth
let sorrows be kites
that fly off in the sky
let winter's cold doom
pass us all by
sunny Sunday walk
frees my cold winter soul
helps me hold onto hope
and makes me feel whole

I'm right there with you....Beautiful vision and reminder of what is to come. I agree your pics are great.

Your pictures are mega-profound, I love the way you go from animal to desert home, then tall castle and canyon paths and the flowers, they are my favorite view, until I hit the last one... the rainbow hue... And This Poem, of your three newest, is my favorite. tad Short, very sweet and wants green spring... will you have pictures of snow, when the summer comes like a long, hot ride in the back of a 1952 green Studebaker across the stretch of desert sand to town?.. or maybe a picture of a glacier for summer... you have magnificent views...

Wow! What an amazing journey...I could have kept on reading for at least 5 more minutes :)) I love the content, the innocence of life, portrayed into a beautiful Sunday walk. The inspiration that this poem offers is so well conveyed. I loved it! Thank you for that beautiful mind of yours. God bless~

I so appreciate the comment my friend-TY...Earthly

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
