    Poem Commentary

well i wrote this for my uncle that passed away on 1.24.10..he was a great person and i thought i'd write it...hopefully it shows..you decide

    Sunshine Filled Raindrops

    As day turns to night

    and rain starts to fall

    I think of you

how you fell out of my life

    on that sad January day

You died and left me alone in this cruel world

But I realize it was for the better

    you were suffering

Now you can be watching down on us

and see how much we miss you

    and still love you

For you were a guiding light

    a hand on my shoulder

I see my future in your eyes

and you see your past in mine

the cannons fire in your honor

you played a big part in my life and many others

    now night turns to day

and the sun starts to shine

    I think of you

how you are always in my heart

though the best line of this is repeated in another poem of yours, its still managing to be awesome. i was hooked by the title, as i usually am, and was glad where that title took me. keep writing!

well i put the wrong date in....it was supposed to be 1.12.10 sorry bout that haha

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
