    Poem Commentary

    A moment in time that just kinda stopped for me at the park when I was about 10 years old.

    Swans at the park
    Floating white and glistening
    sun shining all around
    blue water reflecting silver 

    Sliding peacefully across the surface
    perfectly graceful in their royal posture
    Makes me stop and appreciate
    take a cool crisp breath
    and for a moment
    just be

    They never seem to startle into flight
    So secure in their place
    and their fierce might
    So smooth, and pristine and perfect

    I look at me
    and what beauty i see
    is not even in the same category
    They never even look at me
    just continue on 
    quietly, gracefully, nobly
    moving on

    I can't see swans as there are none nearby, but I saw them as I read....nice poetic interlude!.....Namaste....Earthly
