That Song
She,
the ghost of a girl with
glowing blue eyes
who felt deserted
who only saw the bad in herself,
Loved, admired...trusted,
that song.
That song that blasted from her speakers.
It made her feel alive,
comforted.
It made her feel loved,
in that cold dark world.
That song, it played,
until those beautiful blue eyes
were hidden from the world
under golden brown curtains.
Then she drifted off
to a better world,
A world that she can finally call home.
