    The Butterfly

I once met a butterfly gliding on the wings of an angel
with colors of stardust and black sand on her wings,
I asked here where she was going,
yet she never said a word, only to gracefully settle on a cherry tree blossom nearby,
Majestically she stayed there and peered into my eyes,
Why I ask does the butterfly so elegantly without a care?
I was surprised to here her say that I am but a angel who is guarding you today.
As the tears filled my eyes and the stinging of the pain from my heart filled my face with my life's blood,
The butterfly last words to me was that,
    Your mother sends her love.

I think this poem is very sweet. You have a couple grammar/spelling errors, but the piece is cute. I adore your description of her wings.

This is a good poem, Your flow is such that you can lead someone into the poem and it makes me smile.. The words that you use are beautiful and the fact that the end of this poem can make you think that butterflys are carrying words from angels in heaven is beautiful! Good job!! DirtyLilSecret!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
