    Poem Commentary

    this is a poem i thought of when i was thinking of my past. i also though of it when i was listening to stories of other peoples lives. enjoy

    the darkness

     

    As I look into to past

    I walk into the darkness

    of my mind

    that goes on forever

    black as night.

     

    The darkness

    is the brightest part

    of my life

    all of the things are highlighted in black.

     

    In my garden

    there are only black roses

    with droplets of blood

    instead of water

    and the sun never shines on them.

     

    As I look into

    the darkness of my mind

    I see you walking towards me

    a knife, and heart

    in hand.

     

    I walk into the

    tunnel of darkness

    and see a light at the end

    but I keep walking and walking

    but never make it to the light

    I just stay in the darkness

    this is full of emotion. i can understand. i keep tackling my depression and its not easy to come out of the darkness. this is really good

    Very dark, but good. I, too, use darkness as a tool in some of my poetry.
