The Grass is Always Greener
The Grass is Always Greener
How green is your grass?
How blue are your skies?
Can you see past what you see with your eyes?
Stuck in the past?
Or can’t see past your life?
Looking at glass to reflect isn’t right.
Time comes to pass, is a fact. Not a might.
What others may have,
They could lose overnight.
The question is not what you have in your life,
It’s what you can give and hard will you fight.
How short are your sights,
Is how green is your grass.
We all share the same skies,
And all watch the clouds pass.

How green is your grass?
How blue are your skies?
Can you see past what you see with your eyes?
Stuck in the past?
Or can’t see past your life?
Looking at glass to reflect isn’t right.

What others may have,
They could lose overnight.
The question is not what you have in your life,
It’s what you can give and hard will you fight.
How short are your sights,
Is how green is your grass.
We all share the same skies,
And all watch the clouds pass.
