    The Lighthouse

The lighthouse stands and never leaves
It's light shines brightly through the night
    Saving ships from the shoal
Their cargo to be delivered well
    While sleeping in my bed
I remember the fog horn sound
Making me feel safe and snug
    And though I've left
The sound remains inside my head.
