    The Ocean is Part of the Healing
    The crashing of the oceans waves
    drown out my beating
    heart.
    My feet in the grainy sand
    stop me from feeling
    so empty.
    The gentle saltiness of the water
    numbs the entire
    heartbreak.
    If only for a little while. 
    The ocean is part of the healing

    Nice imagery in your poem, makes me feel like I am at the beach. No worry nor care, as I walk along the foamy waters' waves. Yes, the ocean does heal ...for awhile!! Thanks for sharing, Zep
