    THE PASSION

We go through life ambivelent souls, yet searching for the truth,
Requim that has passed us by, yearning for lost youth.
What has man amassed, an arsenal to end it all,
What has man learned, I look with great apall.

I look with passion for an answer, is there a master plan,
    I hope I have a purpose, Surely i'll do all I can.
Man looks for deliverance, from all that has gone wrong,
Oblivious to the fact, he has written his own song.

No robins' song of springtime, a vultures' hovering gaze,
What's left should we not listen, a troubling puuzling maize.
The prophets and the sages, have told us where we will stand,
If just for an instant we forget, to reach out a helping hand.

The help we all seek, lest we forget from whence it came,
The help we failed to offer, viewing life as a game.
Aristocrats have billions, yet cannot look me in the eye,
As this humble man changes thier tire, hundreds pass them by.

I pray for love and compassion, my fellow man no matter his creed,
My hope springs eternal, love will surpass the greed.
With but one breath left to me, I offer up to you,
Respect what GOD has given, these words I speak are true.

Beetle, A humble poet writing to wake us up and have the reader realize that life is short and we should be a positive inspiration to all and aware of what man is doing to the world. ginga

Sad is the state of the way a lot of this world thinks. If only more would trust and put others first once in awhile we could change the thought process of man kind.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
