The Sad Clown

The Sad Clown

The child has grown
To conquer the crown.
But made himself a clown
By selling the soul's burn.
As he is alone
He became down
And feels to yawn,
Though love to move on.
Waiting for a dawn
He weeps and mourn.

Nice poem, as children I think we all grow to conquer the crown, then reality of adulthood sets in. My take on your excellent write. 10 from me.

Oh really..thank u so much...as u r a Rhymer i feel u got the rhyme in my words..yes the poem[if it is worth to be called like that] was just the result of a fraction of thought, poorly written to some extend...

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
