    i found another old poem of mine i have long since gotten rid of

    The Soul is Eternal

     The body is but a empty vessel,
    one day we will all die,
    the body will weather,
    sever,
    and tear,
    eventually it will turn to dust,
    but your soul is eternal,
    it will survive forever,
    and longer,
    never to hurt,
    never to hunger,
    you die once,
    to rise again like a phoenix,
    burning like a passionate heart,
    the soul is eternal,
    forever and always.......
