    The Test Of Time

    Cry me a tear of happiness, show me that you care.
    Tell me that you love me, that you always will be there.

    Lay your head upon my shoulder, whisper in my ear.
    Say the kind of words love, that you know I want to hear.

    Hold me tight within your arms, touch your lips to mine.
    Show me the kind of affection, that is so hard to find.

    Love away the hurt and pain, from others in my past.
    Embrace me with the kind love, a love I know will last.

    Because, today it seems a real love, like this is hard to find.
    But if it's really true love, it will stand the test of time.

    the longest test of time was waitin' the 2 years my husband well at the time he was not, my husband.. but had proposed and had to leave he next day..... if its love it will stand every storm life dishes out... temptation is not a threat..when you have a chance please read "is it love" & "where it counts" thank you for your exquisite poetry, your soul shines thru 'em all..Love & Blessings, Terra (10+ )
