    Poem Commentary

    i wrote this when i was kind of in a bad mood

    Thorns of Love
    Thorns and vines weav in and out
    of my mangled heart
    with every beat
    the thorns pierce at the
    delicate fiber of my heart
    and i can feel the pain
    as my heart is dripping blood
    inside my tattered flesh
    and as the sixty some odd
    beats a minute and the
    one thousand four hundred fortieth beats
    a day the thorns
    are stabbing at my heart
    but the end of they day
    and as i lay down to sleep
    my heart slowly beats
    and as it stops
    it's plan to see that
    the thorns of love is
    what was killing me
