    Thunderbolt

     

     

    So astonishing

    lightning quick

    from out of nowhere

    struck by you

    from way across

    this large room

    a bolt of warmth,

    out of the blue

    stunning how

    suddenly heated

    I have grown as our

    paths flash together

    like lightning

    lighting the night

    the clashing clouds

    confront me

    with an eerie sense

    of something special

    about to occur;

    your striking impact

    awakens my heart,

    your magnetic force

    pulls me near,

    rousing me

    to find out

    if the thundering

    of your beauty

    has the electrical

    charge to illuminate

    my horizon.
