Times Up

Fun for you

Maybe fun for me

But to look at you

Makes me see

The hatred in my eyes

The disgust in my head

To think of all that’s been done

To me and you

What could I do

I did all I could

Like a big sis should

But now I see

You mean nothing to me

Every hurt pushed aside

Every tear that you cried
has seen better days

The chances to over come this

Has come and gone

You refuse to listen

You refuse to think

So now accept you fate

We will go our own ways

Not to cross paths again.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
